We are hiring German Language Teachers to provide in-person customized lessons to 2 adults in Mainz. Class Information: Reference: 182957 / 182955: Face-to-face - 2 adults taking classes separately Availability: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 4pm and 8pm Preferred start date: asap Lesson Frequency: Employee: 2 times per week / Spouse: 3 times per week Lesson Duration: 1 hour Students' location: Wilhelm-Theodor-Römheld Str, Mainz Current target language level: Beginner Native and other spoken languages: Employee: English, some Spanish and French / Spouse: English, some French Students' language needs and goals: - Employee: Developing basic communication skills to manage everyday life. Finding ways to learn the language quickly and efficiently. "Main goals are to be able to comprehend and speak moderately day to day language with native speakers. Need to be able to order confidently in restaurants and navigate around the city." Interests: Culture, history, family, holidays and travel. I am also interested in local sports and outdoor activities: cycling, hiking, running, kayaking, and more. - Spouse: She would like to develop basic communication skills for everyday life in Germany and to be able to communicate in her day-to-day life (supermarket, shopping, restaurants, doctors, transport, etc.) Interests: Traveling, reading, wine tasting. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of German teaching experience Must have experience working with children All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
