Senior Legal Counsel
Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal and compliance support for their operations across the DACH region. This role involves advising on a variety of commercial and regulatory matters, working closely with business stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and support negotiations of contracts, including industry-standard construction agreements and distribution/channel terms.
* Provide legal guidance on antitrust and competition regulations in distribution and channel partnerships.
* Develop and maintain contract templates and legal policies.
* Identify and mitigate legal risks by contributing to policies and procedures.
* Manage claims and litigation processes.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
* Deliver training and support legal compliance programs.
* Provide additional legal support as required by management.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified lawyer authorised to practice in Germany (two state exams).
* Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
* Experience working in an international corporate environment, ideally in an in-house legal role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex legal and commercial issues.
* Commercially minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
