(Senior) E-Mail Marketing Manager (f/m/d)
To support our E-Mail Marketing Team we are searching for a (Senior) E-Mail Marketing Manager (f/m/d) to be based in our Munich office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Lead the planning, creation, scheduling, and deployment of multilingual e-mail campaigns across customer segments
2. Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Analytics, Customer Experience, Retail, Brand Marketing) to align campaign strategy and execution
3. Monitor and report on key e-mail KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations
4. Optimize newsletters and event-triggered e-mails for relevance, personalization, and deliverability
5. Build and manage dynamic segmentation strategies to ensure personalized targeting and better customer retention
6. Mentor and support junior team members, helping them develop e-mail marketing best practices and ensuring smooth campaign execution
7. Contribute to the planning and implementation of new mailing formats, automation workflows, and lifecycle marketing initiatives
WHO YOU ARE
8. Ideally 3-5 years of hands-on experience in E-Mail Marketing, ideally in an international, multi-language environment
9. First experience in leading or mentoring team members, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
10. Proven ability to develop and execute e-mail strategies that drive measurable results
11. Strong understanding of CRM principles, customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation and automation
12. Proficiency with e-mail marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SAP Emarsys, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Oracle Responsys, or similar)
13. Comfortable working with data, able to translate performance metrics into actionable insights
14. Familiarity with e-mail compliance standards (e.g., GDPR) and e-mail best practices
15. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
16. Nice to have: Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and performance experimentation as well as basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting and QA
