Within the WTG Group, we are the expert team for customized software projects and data-driven services. To strengthen our team across Germany, we are looking for a dedicated Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d) who analyzes complex data, creates insightful reports, and supports decision-making with innovative solutions.
As a Data Analyst / BI Analyst, you are responsible for preparing, analyzing, and visualizing company data. You support specialist departments and management in data-driven decisions and contribute to optimizing business processes.
YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
* Collection, cleansing and validation of data from various sources (ERP, CRM, data warehouse, external systems)
* Development and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports (e.g., with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tools)
* Conducting exploratory data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and optimization potential.
* Support in defining and tracking KPIs, as well as building a unified reporting framework.
* Close collaboration with specialist departments (Finance, Sales, Operations) to develop data-driven solutions.
* Documentation and automation of reporting processes
* Ensuring data quality and consistency in coordination with the Data Engineering Team
HOW TO CONVINCE US OF YOURSELF
* Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, statistics, mathematics or comparable qualification
* Initial professional experience in the field of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science
* Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
* Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker)
* Proficient use of Excel and, if applicable, programming languages such as Python or R are advantageous.
* Analytical thinking skills, structured work methods, and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills to explain complex results clearly to stakeholders.
