Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pensions & Benefits Manager – Global IEB Lead to join our global Pensions & Benefits team, reporting to the Global Head of Pensions & Benefits. This collaborative team ensures comprehensive oversight, strong governance, and effective risk management for our pension & benefits programs worldwide. On top, each team member takes ownership of a particular area of subject matter in the field of pensions and benefits, ensuring best practices across regions. The CoE leads and manages a diverse portfolio of projects related to pensions and benefits but also provides both strategic-conceptual advice and practical support to our Compensation & Benefits Hub Leads in delivering competitive, locally tailored benefits while maintaining our global standards.

This Pensions & Benefits Manager – Global IEB Lead plays a pivotal role in various key areas:

1. Overseeing, governing, controlling our global Insured Employee Benefits Programs worldwide: In addition to regional responsibilities, the role will take global ownership of our Insured Employee Benefits governance, including finance strategy, risk management and cost control.
2. Leading, managing and/or contributing to local/regional/global pensions & benefits projects: The role leads, manages and/or contributes to various local, regional but also global pensions & benefits projects supporting our ambition of continuous enhancements.
3. Governing, controlling, managing, and shaping and our pensions programs: The Pensions & Benefits Manager oversees, governs and actively manages our pension programs from a strategic and conceptual perspective. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and conceptual pensions program offering in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, and in line with our pension’s governance model and strategy.

How you will make an impact

Global Insured Employee Benefits Component of Position

Take ownership of our global Insured Employee Benefits Management and its governance, risk management, financing strategy and concept and cost control:

4. Act as single point of contact for our C&B Hub Leads and broker network when strategic and conceptual insured employee benefits matters are concerned.
5. Closely collaborate with global broker to ensure high quality service delivery from broker network aligning with agreed service levels. Continuously manage vendor relationships with focus on strategic and conceptual global matters.
6. Manage IEB finance and risk management strategy – with support from our global broker
7. Manage our global Insured Employee Risk Pools. Regularly monitor the pools’ success, sustainability and preferred Insurance Network partnerships.z
8. Identify effective cost control measures and actions to address specific cost drivers and recommend on counteractions. This includes interpreting and analysing (in collaboration with global broker) claim reports.
9. Shape – with our global broker – the annual renewal strategy addressing specific challenges and market developments to cater as roadmap for local brokers and our C&B Hub Lead colleagues alike.
10. Develop a regular insured employee benefits risk management reporting to become part of our annual pensions & benefits risk management reporting.
11. Regularly review and further develop our Insured Employee Benefits Regulation to ensure remaining in sync with our company’s people strategy and culture.

Pensions & Benefits Management Component of Position

12. Contribute to the strategic development and advise on enhanced operational execution of our pension programs.
13. Monitor & analyse countries’ pension programs with reference to changes in legislation to ensure legal compliance of our pension schemes, operations and (regulatory) processes, risk assessment, cost control and vendor service quality as well as market competitiveness, which includes:Develop, recommend modifications to existing pension plan designs and new concepts, make recommendation on vendor selection and prepare business cases, and lead/manage implementation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, compliance, and external consultants.Manage our relationships to vendors assigned to you.Draft pension plan rules (policies), member booklets and other associated documents, communication strategy and prepare communication materials.
14. Conceptually support, align with, provide guidance and advice to other HR functions to support a seamless operational delivery of our pension programs.
15. Jointly with Pensions & Benefits Team colleagues, ensure data comprehensiveness and accuracy of all existing pension and other similar long-term commitment plans are reported in the Global Benefits Data Repository.
16. Lead, manage and/or contribute to roll-out, implementation and continuous operation of country and/or global projects and initiatives relating to pension and benefit programs.
17. In line with your areas of responsibility, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, compliance, and external consultants.
18. In your field of expertise, develop and provide target-oriented trainings to support upskilling the HR and C&B organization as required. Share knowledge and expertise with internal stakeholders.

Your Background

19. 5+ years of experience in Pensions as well as in Insured Employee Benefits in an international environment – ideally within a multinational matrix organization - having a good understanding of the challenges, and impact on financials and reporting.
20. Degree (minimum bachelor or similar) in Economics, Business & Administration, Law, or comparable subject.
21. Proficiency in use of IT tools/applications and strong skills to work with Microsoft Office.
22. Strong ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization and expertise in communicating across business units, functions and jurisdictions.
23. Profound Project Management experience – leading and coordinating stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
24. Excellent end-to-end process thinking and analytical skills.
25. Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management.
26. Self-driven, collaborative, enthusiastic and inclusive, curious, and wanting to learn new things, creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
27. Fluency in spoken and written English
