System and Network Administrator (m/f/d) YOUR TASKS You will be part of our IT infrastructure team and responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of the network and server landscape. The focus of your work will be on supporting the firewall systems and site-to-site VPN at national and international locations. You will assist with patch management for our server landscape. You will manage our LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures at national and international locations. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure. You will assist with the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects, rollouts, and migrations. You will analyze and resolve malfunctions and incidents in the network and server environment. You will work closely with other IT teams, external service providers, and specialist departments. You will document your activities and assist in ensuring compliance with IT security and compliance requirements. YOUR PROFILE You have completed training or a degree in IT, computer science, or a comparable qualification and have practical experience in the administration of networks, servers, and IT infrastructures. You have in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN. Experience with Microsoft server operating systems, virtualization (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), and cloud technologies is an advantage. Knowledge of IT security, monitoring, and backup solutions is desirable. Ideally, you have experience in an industrial environment. You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and have strong teamwork and communication skills. Good written and spoken German and English skills. You are willing to travel occasionally and participate in international projects as part of your work.
