Tasks Architecture, development, and maintenance of our Learning Management System (LMS) and internal web tools Design and implementation of scalable backend services using Node.js & TypeScript (Express, NestJS) Development of modern frontends with TypeScript (React, Next.js) Database modeling/management with relational and NoSQL systems, including ORMs Definition and implementation of API interfaces (REST, GraphQL) Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or similar) Monitoring, logging, and performance optimization in cloud environments (AWS) Requirements 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js & TypeScript 3+ years of experience in frontend development with TypeScript and React or Next.js Solid knowledge of REST and/or GraphQL Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS) Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) Experience with microservice architectures and event-driven systems Fluent English, very good German language skills Structured, solution-oriented work style and a strong sense of responsibility Benefits Modern work environment using the latest web technologies Close collaboration with experienced development teams and AI experts Office in Cologne (5 days/week on-site) Public transport ticket for a stress-free commute Free coffee & drinks Flat hierarchies and hands-on mentality Ready to Join?
