Please note, this position requires fluent English and German What you’ll do Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for your market, aimed at engaging clients and generating new business opportunities. Be accountable for meeting PubMatic’s revenue and profitability objectives in your country on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Drive the development and implementation of business plans to achieve commercial objectives specific to your market. Operational and Client Excellence: Manage operations efficiently to ensure productivity and high client satisfaction. Provide support to clients in understanding the role of AdTech in the digital marketing ecosystem and its benefits. Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Success, Marketing, and other divisions, offering structured market feedback and aligning on key messaging and sales tools. Data-Driven Decision Making and Market Analysis: Regularly track and analyse the sales pipeline, developing and communicating accurate forecasts to senior management. Utilise data-driven strategies to increase marketing productivity and ensure the meeting of targets. Support senior management in strategic decisions, identifying key hires and roles essential for regional business growth and development. Industry Engagement and Thought Leadership: Maintain a deep understanding of AdTech trends, technologies, and regulatory changes within the digital marketing landscape. Act as a representative in industry events and foster relationships with key industry bodies, ensuring PubMatic stays at the forefront of market developments. Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies in complex, fast-paced market environments. Digital Advertising & AdTech Expertise Deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including programmatic advertising and current AdTech trends. Ability to articulate the value of AdTech solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. Familiarity with digital advertising platforms, data privacy regulations, and evolving industry standards. Client Relationship & Business Development Skills Track record of building and nurturing high-impact relationships with clients and agency partners. Skilled in identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and driving customer success. Confident in supporting clients through consultative sales approaches, based on solution selling. Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and formulating data-informed strategies. Ability to generate accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market analysis to present to senior leadership. Experience using CRM platforms, BI tools, and campaign reporting dashboards for performance management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Legal. Proven ability to gather and communicate market feedback to influence product development and sales enablement.
