Summary:
Join our forward-thinking team as a Cloud Backend Developer (f/m/d), where you can make a significant impact on the development of SAP’s AI agent runtime and agent tools.
The Role:
1. Contribute to the development of SAP’s AI agent runtime and agent tools.
2. Work on product backlog items, ensuring functionality, high quality and scale, using test-driven development.
3. Collaborate with colleagues in a cross-functional team to ensure team success.
4. Explore and assess new technologies in the field of GenAI and agentic AI.
What you bring:
5. Excellent university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
6. A proactive, team-player personality. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and developing cloud-native applications, microservices, and web applications. Your proficiency in these areas will be assessed through a coding interview.
7. Skilled with at least one strongly typed language. Experience in developing backend (e.g. TypeScript/Node.js) components.
8. Commitment to clean, scalable code and robust API design, with knowledge of Clean Architecture.
9. Strong AI know-how and the ability to keep pace with GenAI technology shifts.
10. Familiarity with data-centric languages, SQL databases, Natural Language Processing, Docker/Kubernetes, SAP CAP, and Git is beneficial.
11. Very good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
