Role Description
As Manager / Director of Finance, you will assume overall responsibility for all financial matters of the Group. You will actively shape the strategic direction and ensure financial stability and transparency—both for operating subsidiaries and at the holding company level.
Your areas of responsibility in detail
1. Overall responsibility for finance, controlling, accounting, treasury, and financing
2. Establishment and further development of finance and controlling structures in a fast-growing group of companies in Germany, with an existing H2 Bus production plant in Poland
3. Management of corporate financial planning, forecasts, and liquidity planning
4. Coordination of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (in cooperation with tax consultants/auditors)
5. Establishment and responsibility for internal and external reporting (including investor communication)
6. Management and development of the finance teams and processes at the locations in Germany and Poland
7. Coordination with financing partners (e.g., banks, funding institutions, investors)
8. M&A and investment projects: commercial management, due diligence, and integration
9. Implementation of a group-wide risk management and compliance system
10. Close cooperation with the CEO, CTO, and managing directors of the subsidiaries, with a direct reporting line to the ARTHUR CEO and shareholder of the Mey Group
Your Profile
1. Degree in business administration with a focus on finance, controlling, or comparable qualification
2. Several years of management experience in a comparable role, ideally in a fast-growing, international industrial or technology company
3. Experience in the automotive or mobility segment is an advantage
4. Sound knowledge of HGB; expertise in Polish jurisdiction is an advantage
5. Experience leading international finance teams and building efficient financial processes
6. Business fluency in German and English; knowledge of Polish is an advantage
7. Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic vision, and a hands-on mentality
8. Experience with investors, private equity, or venture capital is a plus
