Position: Solutions Architect (Energy Industry) Location: Remote (with occasional workshops in Berlin) Duration: 6 months (can be extended) Start Date: Immediate Workload: Full-time Languages: English and German Rate: Up to €43 / hour Eligibility: EU work permit ⸻ Role Overview We are partnering with a leading energy-transmission organization to find an experienced Solutions Architect. You will define, validate and harmonize high-level business and software architectures, ensuring they meet both functional requirements and strategic objectives. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Architecture Design Develop end-to-end business and software architectures Evaluate technology options and validate selections against project needs Impact & Requirements Analysis Assess how proposed solutions affect data flows and existing systems Identify conflicts or gaps, and propose alternative approaches Documentation & Governance Gather technical and business requirements, then compile clear documentation Coordinate architecture decisions across multiple initiatives Technology Enablement Oversee technology testing, PoCs and validation activities Guide deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and ensure best practices Leadership & Mentoring Train and mentor development teams on architectural standards Translate business goals into technical tasks ⸻ Must-Have Qualifications Proven track record as a Solution and Software Architect Strong hands-on experience with .NET and/or Python Solid experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; GCP a plus) Familiarity with container orchestration and streaming technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka) Hands-on with CI/CD tools and automated testing (unit & integration tests) Experience building front-end solutions using frameworks such as Angular or Blazor Proficient in using ArchiMate for modeling complex architectures ⸻ Nice-to-Have Background in energy-transmission or distribution (TSO/DSO) systems and network analysis Experience with the “Enterprise Architect” modeling tool ⸻ What We Offer Flexible, Remote-First Work: Collaborate from anywhere in the EU, with optional on-site workshops in Berlin Immediate Start: Jump in and make an impact from day one Competitive Rate: Up to €43 per hour, depending on experience Long-Term Engagement: Initial 6-month contract with strong possibility of extension
