Senior Sales Engineer SatCom (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about satellite communications and eager to shape the future of ground systems? In this role, you will play a key part in business development and technology assessment for SatCom terminals and ground stations
Your Tasks
1. Developing new business opportunities and evaluating innovative technologies in satellite communications
2. Leading and managing proposal projects for ground systems in space and satellite communications
3. Technical pre-design and project planning in close collaboration with technical and commercial departments
4. Supporting contract negotiations with international customers
5. Conducting small-scale studies on future technologies and market developments
6. Establishing and maintaining customer relationships with research institutions, industry partners, and agencies
7. Representing the company at trade fairs and conferences
Your Qualifications
8. Completed technical degree, ideally with a focus on electrical engineering, communications engineering, or aerospace
9. Solid knowledge in satellite communications
10. Professional experience in project or product sales is an advantage
11. Experience in project management and systems engineering is desirable
12. Knowledge of the customer and supplier market is a plus
13. Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial mindset
14. High problem-solving ability, creativity, and teamwork skills
15. Innovative thinking as well as a structured and organized working approach
16. Willingness to travel occasionally
17. Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
