Job description
1. Translating the national brand and away-from-home strategy at customer level by means of the growth pillars range such as product listings, promotions, trade fairs, etc.
2. Establishing and maintaining of strong commercial relationships with OOH trade partners responsible for (e.g. Rewe OOH partners, Metro C&C)
3. Development of targeted, customer-related plans to achieve joint commercial objectives
4. Lead the annual negotiations with customers responsible for
5. Building conceptual OOH related trade selling stories on our Lotus Biscoff & Natural Foods portfolio
6. Building and maintaining an effective network within the OOH market and acting as brand ambassador at customers, events, fairs, etc.
7. Analyzing and translating relevant OOH market data
8. Close collaboration with Marketing/Category Management to jointly develop and implement key levers that enable to grow the business
9. Monitoring and management of all administrative, logistical or financial tasks encountered by customers in close consultation with the Key Account Assistant and other departments
10. Building sustainable contacts with the customers, strong analytical skills, pro-active thinking and acting, in combination with a hands-on mentality and a team player profile are essential to the success of this position.
11. The Key Account Manager Foodservice role is based in Düsseldorf and reports to the Channel Manager OOH.
Profile
12. University degree (Master/Bachelor) in economics or equivalent
13. Minimum 2-3 years working experience with FMCG experience is a must
14. Profound knowledge of the German Out of Home market structure
15. Experience in sales process dynamics (interrelations head office vs regions)
16. Distinctive communication and negotiation capability
17. Excellence in execution
18. Good conceptual and analytical skills
19. Affinity with numbers
20. Enthusiasm and ability to take others on a joint journey
21. Fluent in written and spoken German, good understanding of English (written and spoken)
