About the company
1. Our client is an e-commerce platform enables users to conveniently order food from various restaurants through a website or app.
Responsibilities
2. You develop (financial) models and templates (in alignment with Global HQ) for all forecasting activities, including strategic planning, capital allocation and cash management
3. You monitor monthly financial and operational performance by analyzing the mid-month run rates and key KPIs. Influence countries’ management to implement your suggestions to improve KPIs and reach targets
4. You analyze financial and operational results to better understand financial performance and make actionable recommendations based on P&L, balance-sheet, Cash Flow and non-financials KPIs
5. You manage improvement initiatives such as revenue increasing activities, or cost savings strategies
6. You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities and serve as the business partner during, investment case proposals
7. You guide and support local finance teams, building processes from bottom up. Be the point of contact for countries' finance leads
8. You work closely with the Regional Management team incl. CFO/CEO and support them with ad-hoc analysis
Profile
9. Several years of experience at an investment banking firm, consulting or finance function in a fast paced environment/industry
10. You enjoy solving advanced Excel modeling challenges
11. You have a high degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field
12. Comfort with analytics, numbers and the capability to draw decisions based on both intuition and data
13. You are a hands-on team player with advanced communication skills, verbal and written
14. Business fluent in German and English
15. You are highly motivated, willing to take ownership of tasks and projects and have the determination to see assignments through to completion
16. You possess strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence others
17. E-commerce industry experience would be advantageous
