As Digital Transformation Manager IT/OT (m/f/d)* within our Business Unit High-Performance Materials, you will drive the global strategic and operational advancement of digitalization across the entire organization. In this role, you shape the IT/OT transformation strategy and roadmap, identify and evaluate digital optimization opportunities and ensure that digital initiatives deliver measurable business value. You act as a key enabler of business impact, connecting digital transformation initiatives with tangible value creation. You combine a strategic approach with hands-on technical expertise, strong coordination- and stakeholder-management capabilities for a global business.
Your Contribution
1. Define and implement the IT/OT digitalization strategy to create benefit for all stakeholders with a clear focus on business impact, transparency and measurable value contribution.
2. Identify, assess, and prioritize digital business cases, including profitability evaluation and decision-making on implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and sustainable growth.
3. Design and implement IT/OT-supported process improvements, by contributing in hands-on value creation and in managing digital initiatives, actively driving the digital transformation of core operational and business processes.
4. Harmonize and optimize IT/OT solutions across sites, working closely with BPM, Operations, Sales, Finance, and Corporate Functions.
5. Coordinate IT/OT projects end-to-end, from demand management and solution evaluation to stakeholder alignment and rollout.
6. Act as the central interface to the OT organization, ensuring governance, documentation standards, and capability building.
7. Lead change management activities for digital transformation initiatives and support the roadmap execution contributing to the continuous development and future readiness of the business.
Your Profile
8. University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business informatics.
9. Several years of professional experience in IT/OT, with a strong background in processes, project management, and implementation.
10. Excellent business acumen and the ability to globally collaborate with diverse stakeholders across all functional levels.
11. Strong process and IT affinity, familiarity with ongoing process documentation initiatives is a plus.
12. Extensive knowledge of Industry and smart manufacturing tools (, MES), as well as very good SAP skills.
13. Strong capability to operate confidently across all hierarchical levels and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
14. Professional fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
