For our client, a highly innovative technology company in Memmingen, we are immediately seeking an experienced Development Engineer (m/f/d) for measurement and testing technology, working full-time (35 hours per week). In this key role, you will set the course for the quality of the next product generations. You will design test strategies for highly complex assemblies and develop automated test systems (ATEs). Your tasks
8. Test strategy & concept: Definition and development of innovative testing strategies to ensure optimal testability (Design for Testability) directly within the product development process.
9. ATE development: Design and programming of automatic test sequences (ATE) for digital and mixed-signal modules in a state-of-the-art development environment.
10. Hardware & adapter construction: Verification, commissioning and continuous development of test systems as well as the customized design and implementation of test-specific adapters (fixtures).
11. Process optimization: Active contribution to the standardization of testing processes and tools to increase efficiency and create new space for innovation.
Your profile
12. Qualification: Successfully completed studies (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in electrical engineering or a comparable, sound qualification.
13. Electronics expertise: In-depth knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal design, as well as solid knowledge of signal integrity and measurement processing. You are able to quickly grasp complex circuits and reliably understand the functional relationships of individual circuit components.
14. Software & Programming: Practical experience with embedded platforms (microcontrollers), firmware development ( C/C++ ) and automation using scripting languages (ideally Python ).
15. Interfaces & Bus Systems: Safe handling of relevant protocols such as JTAG, Boundary Scan, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN and Ethernet .
16. Laboratory & Measurement Technology: Extensive practical experience with standard testing equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, logic, function and spectrum analyzers, DMMs). Sound knowledge of systematic troubleshooting (root cause analysis) and thorough documentation.
17. Soft Skills & Languages: You are an innovative, solution-oriented team player with a strong focus on quality and a business-oriented mindset. Excellent written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
