About the role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Director with a proven track record in digital delivery of commerce, content and/or marketing solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale engagements, managing diverse teams and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of business case-oriented delivery and agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage digital projects with an annual budget of £10M+
2. Work closely with other teams to ensure best results in delivery and support additional growth in new areas
3. Coordinate and manage teams of 80+ consultants and engineers across onshore, nearshore Europe and offshore Indian locations
4. Maintain strong client relationships, across technology, product and operational areas
5. Ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting agreed upon outcomes and business objectives within agreed time and cost constraints
6. Work comfortably between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
7. Apply agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
8. Develop and maintain excellent delivery health (quantitative and qualitative)
Requirements
9. Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital delivery of commerce, content and/or marketing
10. Proven experience leading and managing diverse teams
11. Strong client engagement skills, with the ability to confidently interact with Manager/Director level stakeholders
12. Solid understanding of business case-oriented delivery with experience in measuring outcomes
13. Ability to work comfortably between business and technical teams
14. Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment
15. Fluent in both English and German
16. Ideally experience in at least three of the following sectors: Retail, CPG, Travel & Transportation, Automotive, Manufacturing, Life Sciences
17. Ideally with delivery experience of at least three of the following: Consulting, UX/UI Design, MACH implementations, Mobile and/or Omni Channel, Marketing Services
Nice to Have
18. Agile Project/Program certification (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) or equivalent
19. At least 3 examples of full lifecycle delivery and understanding of the business impact of such implementation
20. Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering projects using agile methodologies
