Job Description
We are looking for Senior Consultant with expertise in SAP IS Utility – IDEX and Market Communication to join their SAP Utilities team. Consultant must have at least 2 greenfield SAP IS-U implementation in Utilities with experience as a solution analyst to drive Business Workshops, Blueprint Sessions, Document the business process design documents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Experience with Meter to Cash processes, including SAP IS-U/CRM/C4C and other CX products.
• Drive business workshop for requirement gather in electricity and gas industry for market communication with distributors and other 3rd party.
• Possess a good understanding and communicate with other business stream (customer service, metering & device management, billing & invoicing and finance).
• Deep understanding of SAP IS-U modules (e.g., Device Management, Billing, FICA) and the specific functionalities of IDEX for intercompany data exchange.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry regulations related to data exchange in the utilities sector.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements within IS-U, particularly in areas related to IDEX, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Exposure to other SAP technology (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, BRF+, Fiori Apps) will be an added advantage
• Should be well conversant with all process with SAP ISU IDEX (Intercompany Data Exchange) model.
• Should be aware of SAP ISU Market communication functionality available for Germany
Required:
• Broad expertise in energy industry processes
• Very good knowledge of sales processes for energy supply (electricity/gas)
• Practical knowledge of SAP IS-U/UC4G
• Working effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other SAP consultants to deliver successful solutions
• Fluent English. German minimum B2 level.
• Open to local travel to client premises in Munich and Frankfurt – weekly 3 days.
Specific characteristics:
• Very good knowledge of market communication (sales role)
• Very good technical knowledge in Switching processes in the energy market
