Freelance Quality Manager – Gas Treatment Project (Germany) Contact: +49 89 54195904 | Joshua.Sherry@g2recruitment.com Location: Germany (onsite/region to be confirmed) Duration: 12 months (with strong extension potential) – ASAP start Project: Major Gas Treatment / Processing EPC project with a top-tier contractor Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance on a major international project in Germany. Responsibilities Oversee and advise the Project Manager on all quality aspects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with contract, legal, and industry requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific Quality Management Systems, including QA/QC procedures, manuals, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Lead audits (internal and external), follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and manage corrective and preventive actions to closure. Review and validate supplier and contractor quality documentation, qualifications, and subcontractor compliance. Coordinate and chair weekly quality meetings with clients, vendors, and site teams. Serve as the single quality interface on-site. Ensure proper documentation of punch items, test records, inspections, and final quality handover packages. Manage quality metrics and reporting, including KPI dashboards and presentation of findings to senior stakeholders. Essential Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s (or higher) in Engineering or a Quality discipline. Minimum 5–10 years in Quality Management roles within EPC, oil & gas, or gas processing projects. NDT, IWE or certified. Familiarity with gas treatment codes & standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.). Proven experience in executing audits, managing NCRs, and partnering across international project teams. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English; German proficiency is an advantage. Immediate availability for deployment in Germany.
