Job Summary
This position is responsible for processing, analyzing, and improving key performance indicators and supply chain-related statistics for the site, managing master data, and supporting production planning activities. Close collaboration with other West sites and global procurement groups is also required to manage network-controlled materials and meet customer demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Creation, maintenance, and tracking of material-specific master data and material records
2. Processing, analysis, and improvement of key performance indicators (e.g., OTIF – On-Time In-Full)
3. Preparation, analysis, and evaluation of supply chain-related presentations and statistics (e.g., monthly inventory review, capacity utilization reports)
4. Processing and support in the provision and production of sample materials
5. Monitoring customer order deadlines, external services, and supplier purchase orders to optimize delivery reliability
6. Ensuring production planning aligns with specifications, delivery dates, and quality requirements, and adjusting plans appropriately in case of disruptions
7. Planning, controlling, and procuring raw materials in consideration of supplier lead times and minimum order quantities within MES and SAP systems
8. Collaboration with Global Supply Chain and other West sites in managing network-controlled materials and tracking customer demand
Education
9. Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration or a related field
Work Experience
10. Initial professional experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Production Planning
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
11. Good knowledge of SAP, MES systems, and MS Office
12. Very good written and spoken German and English skills
13. Independent working style with strong goal and solution orientation
14. High level of teamwork and customer orientation
