Tasks:
Development of robust methods for biomarker quantification of preclinical photoacoustic data based on stochastic numerical mouse models.
1. Independent scientific research within the project
2. Publication of results in international peer-reviewed journals
3. Presentation of findings at national and international conferences
4. Co-supervision of bachelor's and master's students
5. Participation in group seminars and project meetings
Profile:
6. Completed master's degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, medical physics, applied mathematics, or a related field
7. Solid knowledge of deep learning and image processing
8. Experience with Python and common machine learning frameworks ( PyTorch)
9. Desirable: Experience with photoacoustic or optical imaging Knowledge of stochastic modelling or numerical simulation Experience with medical or biomedical image segmentation Experience handling preclinical or experimental imaging data
10. Strong initiative and ability to work independently
11. Team player with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
12. Good communication skills in English spoken and written (Level C1)
13. Willingness to collaborate with experimental partners
