Overview We are seeking a leader for LEGO's EUC (DACH) Operations to drive performance, deliver commercial results and develop a strong team of around 30 colleagues. This role sets and delivers challenging operational objectives and fosters a continuous improvement culture across the business unit. This position will be based at the LEGO Sales Office in Grasbrunn, near Munich, and follows a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remotely. Relocation support is not offered. Responsibilities Create a robust EUC demand signal to global production facilities by developing joint business plans between sales and marketing, considering supply and production constraints. Establish the strategic objectives for the department to deliver against commercial and operational needs. Be part of the Europe Central leadership team and contribute to organizational commercial goals and people plans, driving the business with the team. Represent the voice of the Europe Central BU and retailers within the European Operations Network. Further build the capabilities of the EUC Operations team to deliver above-average service to retail partners. Drive clear focus on key performance metrics: in-stock, retail inventory weeks of cover, item-level accuracy, shipment forecast accuracy and BU-level Consumer Sales Forecast Bias. Build positive relationships and collaboration between teams within the business unit and with regional partners at all levels. Partner with the EMEA team to deliver continuous improvement projects for the EUC BU to support the digitalization journey. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of commercial and operational priorities such as driving effective and efficient S&OP processes, commitment to outstanding customer service ensuring high customer satisfaction and healthy inventory management and governing key customer operational processes (claims, invoices, payments, etc.). Extensive experience in Operations and a proven track record of leadership and developing strong-performing teams with high motivation and satisfaction in their roles. Proven cross-functional forecasting experience with a demonstrated ability to challenge commercial plans and unite different departments around an ambitious business plan that delivers results. Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement of the service delivered to retailers. Ability to operate at a senior level with both internal and external partners. Strategically strong with a pragmatic approach to wider business challenges and the ability to thrive in uncertainty. Experience in leading large teams through periods of significant change.
