Hauptaufgaben
Performs work assignments relating to the implementation and application of established supply, storage methods and procedures pertaining to maintaining material stocks and accounting records, receipt, storage, and issue of class II, class III (package), class IV (if applicable) and class IX (repair parts).
Investigates and reconciles routine and recurring discrepancies or problems relating to receipt in checking, receipt processing, and stock releases. Searches receipt documents or automated system records, or other available records or files to determine causes of discrepancies or problem, and possible solutions. Answers to customer inquiries regarding materiel releases or delivery of materiel by checking documents. Receives and resolves customer complaints, referring unresolved complaints to supervisor. When necessary, assists in the receipt, unloading and in checking of materiel or selects and moves materiel from warehouse locations to customer issue areas and/or shipment preparation areas. Uses established guides and formulas to determine quantities required and timely stock replenishment. Serves as tool keeper and sub-hand receipt holder for special tools & equipment. Issues various tools to mechanics and maintains accountability for tools and consumable materials. Prepares orders or requests for various standard and non-standard material, initiates local procurement. Ensures the correct storage of hazmat material, performs spot checks and preparations pertaining to command and other environmental audits.
Performs quarterly physical inventories and spot-checking to ensure the correct type and quantities are being counted. Researches discrepancies found based upon material inventories and compiles information necessary for use to support inventory adjustment reports (IAR's)to correct records.
Monitors and performs daily operations in GCSS Army and AIT. Examines source documents or instruction sheets to determine information to be transcribed and applicable programs. Corrects obvious errors and/or consults originator to verify correctness. Assures correctness and completeness of data/information entered into the system. Retrieves data/information required in execution of the supply mission.
Selects, prepares material from stockage locations for release to customers or internal repair shops. Issues materiel to authorized personnel based upon established procedures with correct documentation. Obtains acknowledgement for receipt, files documentation and records. Recommends substitute material if available when items are long lead time or non-procurable. Validates shipping documents and assembles material in loading areas in preparation for shipment in accordance with supply procedures and local SOPs. Operates material handling equipment (MHE) and conveyances in the performance of supply duties.
Responsible for the preparation and submission of a variety of management reports. Gathers, extracts, reviews, verifies, and prepares narrative information and statistical data pertaining to the preparation of reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
Bewerber müssen den Führerschein der Klassen B besitzen. / Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B.
Führerschein Klasse CE und C1E wünschenswert. / German driver's license class CE and C1E desired.
Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Büroanwenderprogrammen erforderlich. / Office automation skills are required.

Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Erfahrung A: Allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen
Es handelt sich um eine permanente Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std. / Woche). / This is a permanent fulltime position (38.5 hrs./week)
Falls erforderlich, ist der Arbeitnehmer verpflichtet häufig und regelmässig Dienstreisen innerhalb und ausserhalb Deutschlands durchzuführen und regelmässig Schichtarbeit, Wochenend- und Feiertagsarbeit in erforderlichem Umfang zu leisten. / If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
