For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for dedicated
Working Student for Internal Audit (all genders)
Part time and fixed term (6 months)
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform testing of SOX controls, including walkthroughs, design testing and assessment of operational effectiveness
2. Identify control and process deficiencies as well as improvement opportunities
3. Communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders on the importance of controls, a strong control environment and the role of audit related improvements
4. Support additional audit-related projects as required
Qualifications:
5. Currently enrolled student in Accounting, Audit, Finance, Economics or a related field
6. Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
7. Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
8. Reliable, structured and detail-oriented working style
9. High motivation, willingness to learn and team-oriented mindset
10. Good understanding of internal control requirements, accounting processes and audit practices
11. Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
12. First experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is a plus
