Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing, including accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and group consolidation. Implement internal controls to ensure process reliability. Partner and Tool Management: Manage relationships with external accounting and tax advisors. Oversee and maintain finance systems and tools (e.g., Pathways, PSPs, ERP integrations, AP tools). Drive automation and efficiency across finance processes. Intercompany & Consolidation: Manage intercompany transactions, settlements, and reconciliations. Support group consolidation by ensuring accurate reporting between entities. Collaborate with central finance on transfer pricing and internal policies. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure accurate statutory filings, VAT returns, and other tax submissions with the support of advisors. Coordinate with central teams to align reporting, audit, and compliance cycles. Collaborate closely with the group’s central finance team in Germany, ensuring alignment across UK and German accounting principles. Maintain up-to-date financial documentation and audit readiness. Strategic Finance Collaboration: Partner with teams across HOLY to improve financial transparency and scalability. Provide insights into financial performance, process improvements, and risk mitigation. About You Financially fluent and technically strong: You have 5 years in accounting/finance with experience of setting up finance operations from the ground up. Cross-border understanding: Experience working with international entities is a plus — ideally with some familiarity with German accounting standards or reporting practices (HGB / German GAAP). Process builder: You can design and scale financial operations from the ground up. Collaborative and autonomous: You thrive in cross-border collaboration while independently managing UK-specific operations.
