Job Overview
We’re hiring a Partner Enablement Trainer to deliver live training across our partner ecosystem in EMEA. You will ensure partners can sell, implement, and support Lightspeed products independently.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver live enablement sessions for new and existing partners across EMEA, covering product knowledge, sales positioning, demo techniques, and implementation workflows. Sessions can be remote or in‑person.
- Run partner onboarding programs from contract signing through to certification, adapting your approach based on partner type and tier: high‑touch for expert partners and resellers, streamlined for referral and ambassador partners.
- Track training completion, engagement metrics, and partner readiness; report outcomes to stakeholders across Partnerships and Launch.
- Shape and contribute to training content based on live delivery feedback, maintaining a tight loop with the Partner Implementation Trainer.
- Build and maintain automated onboarding paths for low‑touch partner tiers (ambassador, referral) to free capacity for higher‑touch partners.
- Shadow Sales Engineers and Sales during your first six months to absorb product positioning and objection handling.
- Observe trained partners’ selling in practice and feed insights back into training.
- Work closely with Partner Growth Managers to jointly own partner engagement post‑contract.
- Coordinate with Implementation Partner Managers for technical validation and with Partner Growth Managers for local‑language coaching.
- Support onboarding of new Partner Development Managers and Partner Growth Managers on processes, certification workflows, and training tools.
- Attend and present at partner events across EMEA when required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in training delivery, partner enablement, sales enablement, or a similar customer/partner‑facing role within a SaaS or technology company.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging live training sessions (virtual and in‑person) to external audiences.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, product positioning, and translating technical knowledge into actionable training for non‑technical audiences.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; fluency in German or French.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, partnerships, and product teams.
- Comfortable working in a remote‑first, EMEA‑wide environment across multiple time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality, retail, or POS/payments industry.
- Experience with LMS platforms, training automation tools, or learner community environments.
- Background in channel/partner ecosystems with an understanding of tiered partner models.
- Experience building automated onboarding flows or self‑serve training paths.
Benefits
- Career growth opportunities based on performance.
- Uncapped commission.
- Work with highly skilled people passionate about sales and marketing.
- Environment that encourages initiative and leadership.
- Team size large enough for growth but lean enough for impact.
- Social activities throughout the year, including a sales summit party in Canada.
- Lightspeed equity scheme.
- Health & Wellness credit – up to 400 EUR per year for fitness, yoga, or other health‑related expenses.
- Mental health support through the Modern Health App.
- People Experience benefit – work from anywhere for 60 days a year.
- LinkedIn Learning access for continuous learning.
- Subsidy to an annual travel pass for public transport to the Berlin office.
- Regular breakfast, lunch, drinks, and snacks in Berlin office.
