1. Successfully completed aerospace, electrical or similar engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
2. Knowledge of avionics standards and protocols (military, space and aviation)
3. 3-4 years of experience as aircraft avionics engineer in a reputed aerospace company desirable
4. Inter-disciplinary knowledge across various aerospace engineering fields
5. Excellent analytical and interdisciplinary skills
6. fluent English, German desirable
7. Proactive mindset, high level of motivation, flexibility, perseverance, and ability to work in a team
8. Startup mentality
9. Experience in managing small teams (size 3-5 people) preferred

Your mission
10. Detailed avionics architecture for a two-stage winged hypersonic spaceplane using aviation, military and/or space standards
11. Responsible for data handling, bus systems, sensor integration and electronics design
12. Implementing control laws on embedded hardware
13. Technical evaluation of electrical power subsystem for generation, storage and distribution of electrical power in the aircraft
14. Integration of telemetry system into the spaceplane structure
15. On-board data handling using off-the shelf hardware and on-board flight software
16. Manage the electrical and data interfaces between sensors and components
17. Support in flights campaigns for system and subsystem tests for certification of the airplane
