This exciting new role will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm’s enterprise software application platforms, including German-language enterprise applications. These platforms allow attorneys and staff to perform their job functions from the office and remote locations, and support software solutions for all facets of attorney work such as document generation, business development and intake, client billing, etc. This role will be located in our Frankfurt office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Other key responsibilities include: Proposing additional enhancements and new software solutions for the firm’s legal professionals and administrative departmentsTroubleshooting software problems for firm users as they relate to firmwide, departmentally-driven technology projectsInstalling, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm and making recommendations to their manager regarding setting of standards for firm softwareProducing training materials and delivering training to regional trainers, the Global Technology Support Centre, and to end-users regarding specialised applicationsProviding additional end-user technical support as needed We’d love to hear from you if you: Display knowledge and proficiency in the administration, maintenance and deployment of a wide variety of software programmes, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Windows Server, M365 apps, and other enterprise applicationsDemonstrate an understanding of administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applicationsExhibit an understanding of unattended software deployment tools And have: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field or appropriate work experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills in German and EnglishExperience in a software support role Experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel, preferablyExperience with enterprise-class software installations and upgrades, training, and technical documentation, preferablyExperience supporting a large, multi-office environment, preferablySuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
