Come and join the team!” - Heli Borgström, Director, Packaging What you will do Develop and execute sales strategies to expand UPM’s presence in the packaging paper market, focusing on Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland Manage and grow complex accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiation. Manage global key accounts for select packaging paper customers Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities with both existing and new customers in the packaging paper segment Provide regular reporting on sales activities, KPIs, and market trends Gather and communicate market intelligence, customer needs, and value chain insights to inform product and service development Collaborate with UPM sales teams, supply chain, technical sales, and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for customers Apply UPM’s pricing and service level policies and document agreements Use digital tools (CRM, analytics, social media) to drive sales effectiveness, customer engagement, and support digital transformation initiatives Foster strong internal networks and work effectively with colleagues across Europe and the US Who you are You have university degree and minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or business development, preferably in specialty papers or related industries You have a broad knowledge of industrial market (B2B), product and services, sustainability and sales processes. Experience in the packaging industry is a plus You know and understand sales tools and methodologies, and have a proven track record in account management You are proficient in commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills. You are highly skilled at prioritising and self-leadership.
