Area of responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement new technical solutions that meet the evolving needs of the product
2. Work in partnership with the design team to develop and refine patterns for new products, ensuring that the designs are feasible for production while meeting aesthetic and functional requirements
3. Conduct thorough inspections and verification processes on production patterns, ensuring they align with the original design specifications and meet quality standards
4. Integrate and enforce relevant technical standards and regulations into the product development process to ensure compliance and product safety
5. Create comprehensive technical documentation that outlines development and production requirements, including detailed specifications, material lists, and production procedures
6. Provide technical assistance during the product development phase, including testing of prototypes and development samples, to ensure they meet design and performance criteria
7. Oversee and monitor the production process in the manufacturing facilities, ensuring that products are produced according to the established specifications and quality standards
Profile of qualification:
8. Successfully completed studies or an apprenticeship in Clothing Technology, Pattern Construction, Textile design / engineering or a related field
9. Proven experience in a comparable position within the clothing or textile industry, preferably involving technical product development or pattern making
10. Expertise in developing patterns using CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, or similar systems
11. Strong technical understanding of garment construction and production processes
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
13. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in German is a plus and would be highly advantageous.
