We are looking for a technical co-founder to join one of our pre-seed ventures that’s turning Europe’s textile-EPR mandate into a data-driven circular system.
Brands will soon face significant eco-fees and substantial penalties if they can’t demonstrate end-of-life traceability for their garments. Our integrated platform aims to cut waste-handling costs, and opens new revenue streams across the value chain. The solution we have in mind:
- By enabling fashion brands to pre-register products and eco-fee liabilities before launch, we pull compliance work forward, flatten regulatory peaks, and reduce last-minute reporting chaos.
- Real-time traceability becomes on-shelf transparency: every garment carries a digital passport, giving customers instant provenance data while giving brands verifiable, end-of-life proof.
- An AI decision engine continuously matches product data, fee tables, and regional recycling capacity—optimising compliance costs at scale while maximising margin and customer trust.
YOU'LL BE THE PERFECT MATCH IF
1. You’re a senior engineer or ex-CTO who has shipped a cloud product at scale and played with real-world AI/robotics stacks (ROS,Python,TensorRT).
2. Proven record building or exiting a start-up — ideally marketplace or compliance-tech.
3. You thrive in regulated, data-heavy spaces (fin-tech, digital health, etc.) and see regulation as an API opportunity.
4. Passion for climate/circular economy; bonus for familiarity with EPCIS, GS1 Digital-Link, or blockchain RWA tokens.
5. You have the drive to build the next big thing and bring it successfully to market together with us.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
6. Own the technical vision from MVP to pan-EU scale; report jointly to the CEO and the board of producer members.
7. Architect our multi-tenant EPR platform and wire it into Digital Product Passport services, payments, and national PRO interfaces.
8. Design the AI compliance engine that matches product specs, country-specific fee tables, and recycling-capacity data—delivering real-time eco-fee forecasts and optimisation insights.
9. Stand-up the recycled-fibre token infrastructure and IPFS hash registry.
10. Build and mentor the first 8-person engineering + data team, embedding DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices from day one.
