German speaking business developer (hybrid)

Location: Frankfurt am Main (Hybrid, up to 2 home-office days per week)

Contract Type: Full-time

Experience: 2–5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience

Language Skills: Native/C2 German & Professional English (C1)

Compensation: Base salary up to €60,000 gross p.a. (ranging from €40,000 to €50,000 based on profile, with flexibility up to €60,000 for exceptional candidates) + Performance-based Bonus

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Client Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, building trusted, consultative advisory relationships with founders, C-level executives, and key decision-makers.
  • Consultative Sales: Drive value-oriented, consultative sales rather than aggressive cold calling. Identify, negotiate, and close high-value deals with recurring revenue potential.
  • Solution Delivery: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our high-demand compliance solutions tailored to specific client needs and business goals.
  • Metrics & Forecasting: Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare transparent account status reports.
  • Industry Insights: Keep your finger on the pulse of the global e-commerce ecosystem to build expert-level industry knowledge and anticipate market trends.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at major industry events, webinars, and face-to-face client meetings (approx. 3–4 events p.a. across the DACH region and Europe).
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the broader sales team to identify regional growth opportunities, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior business development team members.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Experience: 2 to 5+ years of successful professional experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development—ideally within professional services, e-commerce, tax compliance, or SaaS.
  • Education: A BSc/BA degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical success is highly valued.
  • Languages: Native or C2-level German combined with professional, fluent English (C1) is a must for navigating our international internal environment and managing DACH-region clients.
  • Sales Mindset: A consultative, value-driven partner mindset rather than a purely transactional telesales approach.
  • Communication: Outstanding presentation skills and the confidence to pitch directly to CXO/founder levels.
  • Organization & Resilience: Highly organized, KPI-driven, and capable of maintaining a calm, customer-centric approach under pressure and tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience selling tax, global compliance, or dedicated e-commerce services.
  • Additional Turkish language skills.

Note on Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position based out of our Frankfurt office (up to 2 days remote after onboarding). Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally for regional European events and feature in industry webinars.
