Hardware development engineer (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Development of printed circuit boards for the automotive sector
• Creation of specification documents using requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
• Preparation of development documentation for safety-related E/E/PE systems (IEC 61508)
• Preparation of development documentation in accordance with functional safety standards for road vehicles (ISO 26262)
• Conducting developer tests, analyses, and troubleshooting on printed circuit boards
• Drafting manufacturing test specifications for series production
• Application of modern development processes for the further development of existing hardware
• Coordination with internal departments

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in electronics development in the automotive sector
• Excellent knowledge of electronic circuit design, analog and digital technology
• Experience in drafting specifications
• Project management skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a willingness to take on responsibility
• Willingness to travel occasionally
