We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist to join our HR team in Geesthacht, Germany. In this role, you will provide operational HR support in all areas of the employee life cycle. This is a highly collaborative position where you will report to the HR Manager and Talent Acquisition Director being part of our international HR & Recruiting Teams.
What you’ll do:
1. Support HR manager, works council and the management in the planning and implementation of personnel measures as well as the implementation of HR strategies
2. Recruitment of new employees as part of the European recruiting team
3. Contact and support person for employees and managers throughout the entire employee life cycle and personnel matters including onboarding and offboarding processes
4. Ensure the maintenance of the personnel information, time recording and preparation of evaluations and reports in the system
5. Preparation of monthly payroll and cooperation with external payroll and insurance companies
6. Cooperation with the various HR departments of the Group as well as collaboration in international HR projects
What you’ll bring:
7. A completed bachelor's degree in the field of Human Resources or solid generalist HR experience
8. Recruiting experience
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German. You are able to influence and build successful working relationships at all levels
10. A team player who is adaptive, innovative and with proactive attitude to work at an international level
11. Knowledge of the use of an HRIS system and MS Office programs
12. You are available to work from our Geesthacht site on daily basis, with some occasional travel
