KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Strategic Procurement Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As the Procurement Category Manager for Mobility Services (MS), you will manage the external spending on Business Travel, Events, and Fleet (including benefit cars and service cars & trucks). You will work closely with other departments to ensure Siemens Energy's needs are met, maintain and develop supplier relationships, and secure strong contracts.How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Lead the MS procurement team in Europe and North America, guiding local sourcing activities across Siemens Energy
2. Attract, develop, and retain talent within the team
3. Develop and implement global strategies for Travel, Events, and Fleet management
4. Identify and handle procurement risks and opportunities while ensuring global alignments
5. Supervise global tendering, contracting, and supplier relationship management activities
6. Drive improvement initiatives, including booking tools and data tool implementation, while representing Indirect Material Procurement to senior management
What You Bring
7. A successful university degree in a technical or commercial field, ideally equivalent to a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong educational foundation
8. A minimum of 10 years of confirmed experience in Procurement, Travel, Fleet, or related commercial areas is required to ensure a deep understanding of the industry
9. Excellent managerial and communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external partners
10. Validated leadership abilities for leading a diverse, cross-country team, encouraging collaboration and high performance
11. Experience with digitalized procurement processes and systems with familiarity in SAP Concur are considered a valuable asset
12. A strong analytical demeanor and planning skills along with proficiency in English (C1) for effective communication
