This position is a strategic pillar of our expansion into Europe and the diversification of our product portfolio.
Your tasks
* Lead and develop a cross-functional team of over 50 professionals across Sales (New Installations & Modernizations), Solution Design, Marketing, and Project Management – with a strong focus on motivation, coaching, and performance.
* Take full P&L responsibility for the New Installations and Modernizations business.
* Define and implement both national and international sales strategies, with key priorities including:
o Market analysis to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities
o Identification and development of new market potentials and targeted segments
o Delivery of 5-year business plan in terms of order intake, profit margins and cost control
* Drive high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
* Lead change initiatives to future-proof the New Business organisation.
* Collaborate with our People & Culture team to ensure strategic succession planning for key roles.
* Serve as a member of the Divisional Management Board, reporting directly to the Head of Business Unit.
Your profile
* You hold a university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Logistics) and bring strong commercial and technical expertise.
* You have at least ten years of successful experience in a senior management role within the intralogistics sector, along with a well-established industry network.
* Your sales achievements are driven by excellent negotiation skills, a strong ability to build relationships, and a proven track record in closing deals.
* You have extensive experience in leading teams and a demonstrated ability to develop talent and drive team performance.
* You combine empathy and social intelligence with a clear focus on business objectives.
* You are confident working under pressure and navigating changing priorities, maintaining focus on what matters most while proactively shaping the future of our New Business organisation.
* Your approach is defined by customer orientation, initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
* You are a credible, down-to-earth and engaging leader who earns trust from customers, colleagues and team members alike.
* You are proficient in MS Office and have experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Navision).
* Fluency in both German and English, along with a willingness to travel, completes your profile.
