Tasks
1. Development and optimization of thermoplastic and mainly elastomer compounds as insulation and sheathing materials
2. Implementation and monitoring of development projects
3. Approval of materials and compounds
4. Technical support of other functional areas such as production, quality department, cable design and product management
5. Definition of material and process engineering parameters
6. Carry out cost optimization (materials, mixtures and processes)
7. Supporting production in solving problems
8. Evaluating complaints, determining causes and developing solutions
9. Providing technical advice to product engineering and sales
Requirements
10. Technical degree, ideally with specialization in chemistry, materials or comparable
11. Subject-specific prior knowledge and experience needed
12. Business German and English fluently spoken and written
13. Willingness to teamwork
14. Systematic and independent way of working
15. Willingness to work across locations
