For one of our clients, we are recruiting an Accountant to join a multicultural and international environment in Luxembourg.
Role & Responsibilities
* Daily accounting of Luxembourg SPVs, including monthly and quarterly closings when required
* Assisting with the preparation of Luxembourg statutory accounts
* Supporting annual closing and regulatory reporting to the authorities
* Assisting with VAT returns and annual tax declarations for Luxembourg SPVs
* Cash, bank and intercompany reconciliations
* Monitoring SPV bank accounts and Borrower Debt Service Accounts
* Invoice monitoring and management
* Preparation of payments and intercompany recharges
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly interest statements for borrowers
* Ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks
Profile Required
* Degree in Accounting or a related field
* 2–3 years of experience in Luxembourg within an administration company or in-house environment
* Experience with SPVs and Holding structures
* Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP
* Debt investment exposure is a plus
* Real Estate accounting experience is an advantage
* Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
* Comfortable with accounting software (eFront is a plus) and strong Excel skills
* Ability to integrate easily into a team, autonomous and reliable
Salary & Benefits
* Gross annual salary: between €50,000 and €60,000
