Student Assistant as a support for international students

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics welcomes applications for the following position starting September 1st, 2026: Student Assistant as a support for international students (15-20 hours per month)
The fixed-term position is for a duration of 12 months. Place of work is Hannover.
Your role
You will be supporting the international coordinator in the Dean of Studies Office with the coordination of the international Joint Degree study courses, mainly in the following fields:
* Support for international students, especially during welcome weeks
* Assistance with event organization and general tasks
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate must be enrolled at a German higher education institution, ideally in a degree programme relevant to the position.
In addition, we are looking for a candidate with the following:
* Very good knowlegde of English and good knowledge of German language
* Good knowlegde in MS Office software: Word, Excel
* independent, careful, and reliable way of working
* high social and communication skills
* motivation to work in a team and with international students
