This is a key leadership role focused on scaling revenue, building and managing high-performing teams, and expanding market presence across Europe. You’ll be responsible for driving strategic growth, forging strong customer relationships, and enabling sustainable energy and emissions reduction through software.Location:Munich (with frequent travel)Department:SalesReports to:VP Carbon TransformationYour tasksStrategy & Planning:Develop and execute a Go-To-Market sales strategy aligned with company goals for the European marketIdentify market trends, customer needs, and emerging enterprise and sustainability software landscape opportunitiesForecast sales performance and drive pipeline developmentTeam Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and manage a growing sales team, including Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, and Inside Sales ManagersFoster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvementCustomer Engagement:Cultivate relationships with clients across defined industry segmentsOversee the full sales cycle, including discovery, proposal development, and contract negotiationPerformance & Reporting:Define KPIs, track metrics, and report regularly on sales activity, conversion rates, and revenue performanceUtilize Salesforce to manage performance and optimize efficiencyYour profileProven experience in a senior sales leadership role within a B2B SaaS company, ideally in cleantech, energy, sustainability, or ESG domainsStrong track record of exceeding sales targets and driving growth in the European market, with a focus on the DACH regionDeep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, value-based selling, and complex deal structuringExperience scaling and managing cross-border teams in a high-growth environmentExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsNative German speaker (or equivalent fluency) with professional proficiency in EnglishPassionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and decarbonisation strategy development in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and visionIdeally, already familiar with carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or climate tech platformsExperience working with diverse, hybrid teams in a fast-paced and rapidly changing start-up environmentBased in the Munich area and willing to regularly travel to our Berlin office and across the region as requiredDon't feel like you meet all the criteria?
