The team drives standardization and automation through modern technologies and frameworks, enabling efficient, secure, and scalable data innovation.
Your responsibilities
* Lead the strategy, ingestion, enrichment, and governance of metadata across the enterprise.
* Oversee the integration and optimization of cataloging platforms such as Atlan.
* Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on automation and workflow enhancements within the enterprise data catalog.
* Design and implement data validation and monitoring processes to ensure high data quality.
* Collaborate with compliance, IT, and data governance teams to enforce policies and regulatory adherence.
* Partner with data stewards, domain owners, and technical teams to drive catalog adoption and ensure data quality across domains.
* Develop and lead onboarding, training, and awareness programs to scale catalog usage and data literacy across the organization.
* Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership through management reporting on catalog adoption, data quality metrics, and governance KPIs.
Your profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related domains.
* Proven hands-on experience with enterprise data catalog platforms such as Atlan, Collibra, Soda, or similar, along with deep knowledge of metadata management and data quality frameworks.
* Demonstrated success in working with IT, business, compliance, and security teams to implement and scale data catalog and quality solutions across the organization.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive alignment across diverse teams.
* Solid understanding of data governance principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring enterprise-wide adherence and best practices.
* Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
