We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Junior Embedded Systems & FPGA Engineer (all genders) to support our development team in building high-performance embedded and FPGA-based solutions for industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to grow in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Support the design and implementation of FPGA solutions using Verilog.
* Assist in the development of software for embedded microcontrollers and Linux-based systems.
* Collaborate with hardware and software engineers on system integration tasks.
* Participate in version control and collaborative development using Git.
* Interpret PCB schematics for hardware/software interfacing.
* Contribute to testing, debugging, and documentation of embedded systems.
Your profile
* Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Profound experience in FPGA and embedded microcontroller programming, Verilog and C++.
* Familiarity with Embedded Linux environments and Git.
* Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C, C#, or Python.
* Understanding of I2C communication, PCB schematics, and common development tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Quartus, Modelsim).
* Familiarity with digital design, Torizon OS, or functional safety standards (e.g., ISO is a plus.
* Interest in Industry 4.0, OPC-UA, or agile development (e.g., Scrum).
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
