We are looking for a Manager of Chromatography for PD Chromatography Systems & Columns at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you will drive the design and development of downscale chromatography systems that mirror pilot‑ and manufacturing‑scale bioprocesses, enabling reliable scale‑up and technology transfer. You will lead a high‑performing process engineering team and collaborate closely with chromatography, automation, hardware, software, quality, sourcing, and manufacturing functions. The position also includes full ownership of the process engineering lifecycle — from requirements and design through validation, tech transfer, and continuous improvement — ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and strong alignment across stakeholders.
