What you'll build
Your responsibilities include:
1. Oversight over IT classified information standards, resources, plans, and systems especially related to sovereign Data Centers
2. Implementation and monitoring of compliance with all classified information protection regulations and security standards for IT systems and components that process, or store classified information
3. Implementation, control and documentation of access to IT classified information and related secure areas according to national security and secrecy requirements
4. Ensure the proper handling, storage, transmission, and disposal of classified or sensitive information in accordance with applicable national laws and internal policies.
5. Ensure adherence to the federal government’s IT security demands especially related to sovereign Data Centers
6. Support federal government agency and internal audits according to sovereignty requirements and investigate and report security incidents, breaches, or violations.
7. Comply with specific national security requirements for sovereign cloud under instruction of the Secrecy Commissioner
8. Collaborate with representatives of federal administration, 3rd party service providers and counter parts in SAP, Government Security & Secrecy, Compliance, Global Real Estate & Facilities, and other business units to specify, document and enforce additional IT classified information guidelines if required for the new company
9. Drive IT security projects with responsibility in the correct handling of IT classified information and the applicable security regulations
10. Manage ongoing communication, issues resolution, and information-sharing with all relevant risk management stakeholders to ensure complete, integrated and accurate risk handling and risk reporting
11. Prepare risk reports, follow up pro-actively on uncertainties and open issues leveraging the Risk Management network
12. Promote awareness and training in the correct handling of IT classified information and the applicable security regulations throughout the organization
13. Build and maintain partnerships with key internal decision makers, and with external risk & security management practitioners
What you bring
14. Diploma degree (or equivalent) in computer science, administration or a comparable qualification
15. Deep knowledge in handling classified information (VS) is imperative, ideally with a focus on IT security or IT infrastructure
16. Experience in understanding of IT infrastructures, networks and storage systems in classical – and cloud environments
17. Knowledge about Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure is a plus
18. Practical experience in data center operations of at least 10 years

23. Work experience in a commissioned security position according to current German national regulations
24. Deep understanding of business enabling, and sales/presales processes is a plus
25. Excellent negotiation skills with government authorities and security organizations

27. Excellent German language skills both in written and spoken language; English skills both in written and spoken language
28. Willingness to go through personal security clearance (Government process)
