What You'll do
As a Software Engineer DevOps in our embedded software development team for power tools, you will be at the forefront of evolving and enhancing our DevOps environment. Your primary focus will be on developing new functionalities that empower our development teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably. Operational tasks and support activities will play a smaller, secondary role in your day-to-day responsibilities.
1. Drive the continuous development of our embedded software toolchain and build systems, with a strong emphasis on innovation and new feature implementation.
2. Collaborate closely with global IT and embedded software teams to understand their needs and translate them into scalable CI/CD solutions.
3. Design and implement new tools and capabilities, selecting and integrating technologies that enhance our development workflows.
4. Develop custom scripts and extensions to automate processes and improve efficiency.
5. Take ownership of the entire DevOps toolchain, ensuring it remains robust, modern, and aligned with evolving project requirements.

What You’ll Bring
7. 3+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience, with strong hands-on experience operating CI/CD pipelines and runner environments
8. Proficiency in Docker, Bash, Python, C# and common build-systems
9. A degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, Information System, or a related field
10. Knowledge of embedded software development and microcontrollers is an advantage
11. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a drive to innovate
12. Proven team player with excellent communication skills in an agile, interdisciplinary, and international environment
13. Proficient in Englisch, German language skills are an advantage
