Commencing on 04 August 2026. We are offering a fixed-term full-time position for probably 16 months to substitute for the duration of a parental leave. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.
Collaboration in research and teaching
Providing students with subject-related expertise and instruction on applying scientific methods
A graduate degree in biology, life sciences, animal sciences or any equivalent study program (i.e. German Diplom and / or master’s degree) as well as a doctorate is required.
A strong interest or expertise in behavioural biology and animal welfare is advantageous.
Further training in laboratory animal science is desirable (e.g., Very good knowledge of spoken and written English is mandatory.
German language skills are advantageous but are not a requirement
You will become part of an international research team working on a range of diverse questions in behavioural biology, enabling you to develop your own research profile.
