Shape our Data Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using dbt and robust SQL within our Google BigQuery data warehouse, with a focus on high-performing data marts and a clean semantic layer.
Own the BI Layer End-to-End: Lead the development of our self-service BI capabilities, creating intuitive data explores and dashboards that give the entire company a single, unified source of truth.
Unify and blend data across the Shopify ecosystem , Google Analytics, performance marketing channels (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok), ERP/fulfillment tools, and internal booking or factoring systems.
Deliver Strategic Insights: Develop end-to-end reporting solutions—from gathering stakeholder requirements and validating data to building polished dashboards and leadership-ready reports.
Data Modeling Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with SQL, modular query design, and dimensional data modeling (star schemas, fact/dimension design).
The Modern Data Stack: Production experience designing and maintaining data models using dbt (or similar transformation tools), including testing and documentation, ideally layered on top of Google BigQuery .
A Proactive & Curious Mindset: You don't just report numbers—you question definitions, challenge inconsistencies, and proactively optimize data processes.
Professional proficiency in English; German is a major plus.
