Job Title Senior Application Developer (m/f/d) Job Description Senior Application Developer Works in a highly skilled, customer focused team with a proven track record in managing a highly integrated suite of applications, which is considered to be one of the success factors for the businesses operating on it. Aiming at providing industry 4.0 capabilities and at the same time ensuring compliance in this regulated business is a challenging task, requiring a good balance between innovation and regulatory-requirements to be met. Your role: Contributing to the definition of the strategy, scope, concepts, architecture and roadmap capabilities for the HPM application suite (consisting of PLM, MES, LEM and other modules) by closely cooperating with process experts and application architects cross-functionally and world-wide understanding and considering industry trends and external influences developing detailed implementation plan (roadmap) executing implementation plans with external and internal partners in alignment with the defined implementation strategy contributing to education of stakeholders and process experts on solution details Maintaining and enhancing the HPM application suite (PLM, MES, LEM and other modules) for optimum integration into the business environment (business strategies, objectives, processes, enterprise and shopfloor applications) by identifying / anticipating new requirements based on industry trends, changing business needs (e.g. new products or business processes) or other innovation opportunities planning and developing solution enhancement and business process changes effectively driving improvement roll-out and related change management (planning, implementation, training, ) Contributing with performance measurement skills (KPI's, BI, reporting, value driver trees, star schemas) You are a part of A team consisting of architects, process experts and application developers managing a highly integrated suite of applications (PLM, MES, LEM). The application suite supports the processes for the world wide operating HPM Businesses Unit of Philips, including several factories and R&D locations in globally distributed locations. You're the right fit if: You have a Bachelor’s or Master degree in engineering/Computer Science or equivalent 3 years of relevant work experience with Master degree and 5 years of exerpiance with a Bachlor´s degree Knowledge of Perl and / or experience in Java / Oracle based application development Experience with product structure and product data Ability to understand and master complex, cross-functional problems, including information gathering and judgement/decision making Ability to build and maintain long-lasting, flexible solutions Ability to contribute to deliver solutions as part of a diverse and global project teams Good command of the English language, both spoken and written Influential leadership experience would be great to have How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role in the Böblingen office.
