Could you be the full-time Railway Operations Engineer in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your rail operations expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Ronald Kislat, Test Laboratory Manager, and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.
You'll will take over responsibilities as a railway operations manager with focus on the safety management system. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business leading in the development and handling the processes /documents of the safety management system. You’ll specifically take care oforganization and execution of the work in accordance with appropriate regulations /manuals.
We’ll look to you for:
1. Participation in resolving emergency situations as part of emergency management
2. General tasks for railway operations as railway operations manager
3. Tasks as operational test manager: bears overall responsibility for the test drive as the responsible company officer
4. Technical tasks (vehicle technology):
5. Development of various test protocols (safety check)
6. Creation of checklists to document the vehicle conditions, examination or handover
7. Creation of technical work instructions for the operation of the vehicles
8. Evaluation /assessment of the vehicle conditions (operability, maintenance status)
9. Supervision of maintenance

10. Proven experience in railway operations, with a focus on rolling stock and infrastructure (hands-on experience as engineer for railway operations or railway operations planning, train driver, local operations manager or railway operations manager)
11. Fluency in German and conversational English is required
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
13. Open and collaborative team player
14. Reliability and punctuality are your hallmarks
15. Possess an eye for the big picture, demonstrating a capacity for thinking across tasks
16. Economically efficient thinking, recognizing the cost implications of rail transport
17. In-depth knowledge of railway systems, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
18. Extensive knowledge of preparing test drive applications
19. Valid license as a train driver
