Role Description
* Join us in shaping the future of eBay advertising! Be an integral part of the team building out a new unified advertising platform – a foundation of eBay marketplace.
* You’ll be working on a variety of the services, tools and components and will be actively involved in all aspects of development. You will also be expected to
* Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks
* Integrate closely w/ colleagues in different functional groups and remote offices
* Communicate effectively within your team and across teams
* Contribute to technical conversations and debates, and decide upon approaches and tools to utilize
* Balance strong ownership and teamwork
* Research, innovate, deliver and grow
Job Requirements
* BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
* Experience developing iOS applications & commercial software with Objective C and Swift
* Experience with SwiftUI
* Experience with Jira (or other issue tracking software), familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger, exposure to the Agile process
* Experience with Xcode, GIT, profilers and debuggers
* Experience integrating with web services & using HTTP, TCP/IP and databases
* Experience working with GraphQL
* Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms
* Code samples from private github repos, side projects, and open source project contributions is a plus
Compensation / Salary Range: The typical pay range for this role is: USD $40/hr - $45/hr. Factors that may affect pay within or outside of this range may include but not limited to geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
